ONCE A BALLERINA, NOW A CHEERLEADER ✮

February 07, 2024 was the day the culminating activity happened, we made a stall at the gymnasium and displayed our hand made sculptures. When afternoon strikes it was the time that we will perform, several sections did their very best for their performance in 3 different types — cheer dance, hip-hop, and festival dances and personally I have my favorites. The said culminating activity happened at the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School gymnasium. I was with my classmates and friends. Section ganesha’s dance category was cheer dance. I didn't felt anything after the result was given till I turned out to be numb heading back home with back pain and actual pain. Home is where I wanted to be that time. I figured out why I felt that way because I expected for us to win even the 2nd place title, well that's what' you get when you expect — you either be happy or either be disappointed. We didn't got the bacon, but I think all hardships were paid of since we all give our very best in the performance and we delivered it well, with matching compliments after, given from others. Actual winning is just the bonus of it all. I think for me the real winner is when you enjoy and devour all those moments that leads you to where you are heading. It's not the trophy, but the memories and experiences that you didn't encountered before, and that's the real definition of winning.
